Falchook AD et al. -The prevalence of aggressive medical care among cancer patients < 65 years of age is unknown. In the current study it was shown that the use of cancer-directed treatment at the end of life for cancer patients < 65 years of age was low, and hospice use was > 50%. In contrast, utilization of hospital-based care was common in such patients.
