Ichijo H – The efficacy of affected–ear–up 120° maneuver was examined for treatment of lateral semicircular canal benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. In patients with lateral canalolithiasis, the appearance rate of lying–down nystagmus was also analyzed. Outcomes approved that the affected–ear–up 120° maneuver was effective for the management of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. In investigations, the lying–down nystagmus appeared at a high rate.
