Palagini L, et al. - Physicians investigated whether adult insecure attachment played a role in hyperarousal and emotion dysregulation in insomnia disorder. An insecure attachment which was associated with hyperarousal trait, pre-sleep hyperarousal, and emotion dysregulation was found in subjects with insomnia. It could intervene in the trajectory of insomnia starting from predisposition to perpetuation. They discussed clinical implications.
