Cornea Feb 06, 2018
Monteiro T, et al. - The aim of the authors in this trial was to gauge the outcomes of visual, refractive, and corneal topography in the eyes with keratoconus that underwent exchange/adjustment surgery with a new intrastromal corneal ring segment (ICRS) combination following the unsuccessful visual and/or refractive outcomes post-primary ICRS surgery. For keratoconus treatment, ICRS implantation was shown to be a reversible and adjustable surgical procedure. After the ICRSs were exchanged, good outcomes could be obtained.
