Venkatesh B, et al. - Researchers ascertained if hydrocortisone reduced the mortality among patients with septic shock. It was observed that a continuous infusion of hydrocortisone did not lead to lowering of the 90-day mortality when compared to placebo among patients with septic shock undergoing mechanical ventilation.
