Seifert SM, et al. - Researchers here assessed longitudinal tenofovir (TFV) and tenofovir diphosphate (TFV-DP) concentrations in hair and dried blood spots (DBSs), respectively, from HIV-infected adults. They observed that younger and older HIV-infected individuals on TFV-based therapy showed comparable cumulative drug exposure measures (hair and DBS) after adjustment for renal function.
