Renzi S, et al. - This paper entailed the elucidation of the characteristics, treatments and outcomes of adenovirus infection in children with newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Adenovirus infection was found to be a rare occurrence and typically not related to severe disease, even without specific treatment. Nevertheless, the occurrence of disseminated and fatal disease could be noted in the study cohort.
