Evans M, et al. – Experts employed the National Cancer Database (NCDB) and compared the clinical features and overall survival of adenosquamous carcinoma (ASC) with adenocarcinoma (AC) and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC). Study outcomes emphasized ASC as a rare tumor among esophageal carcinomas. ASC displayed a greater burden of metastatic disease than AC or SCC and worse OS than AC.
