Adaptation of the score for allergic rhinitis in the Chinese population: Psychometric properties and diagnostic accuracy

Lam SC, et al. – Researchers tried to adapt the score for allergic rhinitis (AR) (SFAR) to the Chinese population (CSFAR), as well as, they planned to validate it by testing its psychometric properties and diagnostic accuracy. This study reported a translation of SFAR to a Chinese version, the CSFAR. They acquired satisfactory results for its equivalence, appropriateness, comprehensibility, and relevance, as well as its reliability and validity. It was affirmed that the SFAR adapted for the Chinese population was a valuable tool in AR screening.
