Nephrology Nov 15, 2017

Trongtrakul K, et al. - This prospective cohort study was conducted in surgical intensive care unit (ICU) of the university hospital in Bangkok, Thailand, in order to determine the epidemiology, risk factors and clinical outcomes of acute kidney injury (AKI) in surgical critically ill patients. Findings demonstrated a common prevalence of AKI and its relation to an increase in mortality in surgical ICU patients.
