Ambulkar R, et al. - This study compared ultrasound (US) imaging with manual palpation in terms of the efficacy in locating the intervertebral level for the epidural catheter placement when administering epidural analgesia. Findings suggested that US imaging may not be superior to manual palpation for identifying intervertebral level.
