Jusue V, et al. - The accuracy of calprotectin for prediction of endoscopic activity was evaluated in inflammatory bowel disease. For the detection of endoscopic activity in inflammatory bowel disease, fecal calprotectin concentration had good diagnostic accuracy. It performed better in ulcerative colitis than in Crohn’s disease.
