Aberrant T cell subsets and cytokines expression profile in systemic lupus erythematosus
Clinical Rheumatology Aug 18, 2018
Zhou H, et al. - In patients with SLE, authors evaluated the T cell subsets and levels of chemokines and cytokines and determine their relationships between disease activity and organ involvement. In SLE patients, they observed aberrant T cell subsets and cytokines expression profile. Disease activity clearly influenced the PD1+ICOS+Tem cell subset and in patients with immune thrombocytopenia, serum IL-10, IL-17A, and IL-1β were significantly increased. Hence, for recognition PD1+ICOS+Tem cells might serve as an important tool. For SLE patients with immune thrombocytopenia, serum IL-10, IL-17A, and IL-1beta; might be an effective monitor.
