Aberrant Pax-8 expression in well-differentiated papillary mesothelioma and malignant mesothelioma of the peritoneum: A clinicopathologic study

Human Pathology Dec 16, 2017

Xing D, et al. - Researchers aspired to evaluate the aberrant Pax-8 expression in well-differentiated papillary mesothelioma (WDPM) and malignant mesothelioma (MM) of the peritoneum. Results displayed that Pax-8 could serve as a beneficial marker for distinguishing MM from gynecologic malignancies. However, it was not found to be reliable for distinguishing WDPM from borderline or low-grade gynecologic lesions.
