Leinders M, et al. – The authors intended to characterize inflammation–regulating microRNA (miRNA) profiles in patients with peripheral neuropathies to identify potential master switches in the neuro–immune balance. They concluded that these miRNA patterns could help to identify factors that determine the painfulness of peripheral neuropathies and led to druggable targets.
