Abdominal surgery for gastric cancer following coronary artery bypass grafting using an in situ right gastroepiploic artery graft
Journal of Cardiac Surgery Aug 30, 2017
Yano K, et al. – This study was performed to examine problems with surgery for gastric cancer following coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) using the right gastroepiploic artery (RGEA). The potential for graft injury ought to be anticipated in planning a resection for gastric cancer following a CABG with a patent RGEA graft. A preoperative percutaneous coronary intervention or a reoperative CABG could be indicated in advanced stages of gastric cancer when the RGEA needed to be resected to dissect the No.6 lymph node.
