A two-circular RNA signature as a noninvasive diagnostic biomarker for lung adenocarcinoma
Journal of Translational Medicine Feb 23, 2019
Liu XX, et al. – In this study, data were retrospectively assessed to evaluate circulating circular RNAs (circRNAs) as diagnostic biomarkers for lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) using the Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) dataset. Investigators identified two upregulated and two downregulated circRNAs as candidate circRNAs via bioinformatics analysis. They also noted a correlation between overexpression of plasma hsa_circ_0086414 and EGFR mutations. A significantly different expression of plasma hsa_circ_0005962 before and after surgery was evident in subjects with LUAD.
