Staker JJ, et al. - In this study, researchers determined the efficacy of a new ilioinguinal-transversus abdominis plane block when used as a component of multimodal analgesia in women undergoing elective caesarean section. Findings demonstrated that compared to the usual multimodal analgesic regimen, the addition of the ilioinguinal-transversus abdominis plane block afforded superior analgesia.
