Accordini S, et al. - The three-generation associations of tobacco smoking with asthma were assessed. Asthma risk in offspring may be independently increased by fathers’ smoking during early adolescence and grandmothers’ and mothers’ smoking during pregnancy. Overall, it was recommended to ascertain risk factors for asthma in both parents and before conception.
