Chebbout R, et al. - The goal of this analysis was to determine the prevalence of and risk factors for postoperative atrial fibrillation in the general surgical population. This systematic review demonstrated a common prevalence of new-onset postoperative atrial fibrillation, especially a more frequent occurrence was reported after surgery involving the thorax.
