Ye D, et al. - In view of the rarity and malignancy of gynecologic tract carcinosarcomas (GTCS), researchers sought to determine the possible predictors of relapse-free survival (RFS) and overall survival (OS) for GTCS patients. This retrospective cohort study was performed including a total of 45 GTCS patients. Findings revealed significant association of lymph node metastasis with worse RFS and OS among cases with uterine carcinosarcoma. The relapse rate in GTCS patients may reduce with performing pelvic lymphadenectomy.
