A strategy to find suitable reference genes for miRNA quantitative PCR analysis and its application to cervical specimens
Journal of Molecular Diagnostics Sep 09, 2017
Babion I, et al. - The intent here was to illustrate a new strategy for the detection and analysis of reference genes that could be applied for miRNA-based diagnostic tests without incurring excessive additional experiments and its application to the cervical specimen. The choice of reference genes could vary between different types of specimens, even when originating from the same anatomical source. Adequate normalization appeared to increase the signal-to-noise ratio. This was not reported while normalizing to commonly used reference genes.
