A self-controlled study of intralesional injection of diprospan combined with topical timolol cream for treatment of thick superficial infantile hemangiomas

Dermatologic Therapy May 06, 2018

Xu P, et al. - Researchers probed if a combination of intralesional injection of diprospan with topical timolol 0.5% cream could be more efficient than timolol cream alone in thick superficial infantile hemangiomas. Compared to the timolol cream group, the combined treatment group demonstrated better lesion involution regarding lesion thickness and colour of lesions. For thick superficial infantile hemangiomas, the combination of intralesional injection of diprospan with topical timolol 0.5% cream was a suitable and safe strategy.
