López-Bru D, et al. - In order to determine the risk of recurrence in differentiated thyroid carcinoma, researchers constructed, internally validated, and implemented on a mobile application a scoring system. Follicular histology, T, N, and multifocality were the prognostic aspects. A C-statistic of 0.723 was seen in this risk table. They noted satisfactory calibration. Findings afford rapid and very simple tool to predict which patients with differentiated thyroid carcinoma have a greater risk of recurrence.
