Clayburgh D, et al. – The efficacy of the perioperative corticosteroids was examined for pain control after transoral robotic surgery (TORS). Outcomes suggested that extended perioperative corticosteroid therapy was a safe option after TORS. Moreover, this approach offered earlier improvement in diet consistency and decreased the length of hospital stay, although minimally effect was seen on postoperative pain.
