Cho BK, et al. - In a selected cohort of female patients with chronic lateral ankle instability, the intermediate-term clinical outcomes were compared between lateral ligaments augmentation using suture-tape and modified Broström repair. In young female patients, lateral ankle ligaments augmentation using suture-tape vs. modified Broström repair demonstrated similar clinical outcomes but low cost-effectiveness.
