Susanna CN, et al. - An exploration was carried out of the involvement of corneal hysteresis (CH) as a risk factor for the development of glaucoma. A prominent link was brought to light between the baseline lower CH measurements with an increased risk of developing glaucomatous visual field defects over time. The yielded data supported the role of CH as a risk factor for developing glaucoma.
