Daniel E, et al. - This prospective longitudinal study was performed to evaluate the effects of pasireotide on plasma ACTH and tumor volume in Nelson’s syndrome. Pasireotide treatment was effective in reducing ACTH levels in patients with Nelson’s syndrome. In order to evaluate the effects of pasireotide on tumor volume, a longer period of treatment could be required.
