A population-based survey for emergency medical service transport of acute aortic syndrome patients

Yamashita A, et al. - Researchers here explored the quality of acute aortic syndrome (AAS) assessment by emergency medical service (EMS) and the incidence and pre-hospital factors associated with 1-month survival. In this work, improvement of AAS survival seemed to be affected by rapid admission to appropriate hospitals providing cardiovascular surgery.
