Alonso JE, et al. – This population–based analysis focused on the incidence and determinants of survival of patients with verrucous carcinoma (VC) of the oral cavity. The authors of this study provided data on the prognostic factors affecting survival outcomes in patients with oral cavity VC. Generally, VC had a favorable prognosis. Independent predictors of overall survival (OS) were age, stage, nodal status, and surgical therapy.
