Supportive Care in Cancer Oct 04, 2017
Pachman DR, et al. - This pilot study was planned to investigate the efficacy of minocycline for the prevention of chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) and the paclitaxel associated acute pain syndrome (P-APS). Findings seemed not supporting the use of minocycline to prevent CIPN. However, minocycline seemed to reduce P-APS and to ameliorate fatigue. Further study of the impact of this agent on those endpoints was recommended.
