Ching HH, et al. - The purpose of this trial was to illustrate experiences with unilateral coblation supraglottoplasty. An improvement could be gained in the respiratory symptoms via unilateral supraglottoplasty with bipolar radiofrequency ablation. It could also decrease OSA severity in severe congenital laryngomalacia. This technique appeared to be safe and could cause significant improvement in apnea-hypopnea index (AHI) in patients with OSA.
