A novel nomogram for the treatment of astigmatism with femtosecond-laser arcuate incisions at the time of cataract surgery
Clinical Ophthalmology Oct 24, 2017
Baharozian CJ, et al. - This paper sought to examine an arcuate incision (AI) nomogram to treat astigmatism during femtosecond laser(FSL)-assisted cataract surgery. The data disclosed that the transepithelial FSL-AIs demonstrated a potential for the management of mild to moderate corneal astigmatism, using the modified Donnenfeld nomogram. An additional improvement could be gained in the refractive accuracy through an increase in the magnitude or reduction of the optical zone size for the treatment of WTR and ATR astigmatism for this nomogram.
