Peng J, et al. - The objective of this study is to present the utilization of a 24-G Optiva® i.v. catheter for external drainage of subretinal fluid (SRF) in bullous exudative retinal detachment (RD). The outcome of this study suggests that the external drainage of SRF utilizing a 24-G Optiva® i.v. catheter is safe, effective, and helpful.
