Zhang LL, et al. - The target of the experts was to scrutinize the clinical efficacy, safety, and tolerability of levetiracetam as mono- or adjunctive therapy in the treatment of children and adolescents with epilepsy. Levetiracetam demonstrated comparable effects in terms of efficacy, tolerability, and adverse events. It was deduced that despite a lower incidence of side effects in patients treated with levetiracetam, the difference between them was minute and not statistically prominent.
