Zhong Z, et al. - The researchers evaluated the effects of selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) on blood pressure in the treatment of depression. While SNRIs led to a modest increase in systolic blood pressure (SBP) and diastolic blood pressure (DBP) with statistical significance compared with SSRIs, no effect of SSRIs was observed on blood pressure.
