Kodumuri V, et al. - The comparison of existing data on outcomes of percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) with drug eluting stents (DES) vs coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) for unprotected left main disease (UPLMD) suggested that CABG continue to be the preferred treatment modality in UPLMD but PCI with DES can be considered as a reasonable alternative in patients with favorable anatomy and high surgical risk.
