Jensen TM, et al. – The goal of the present research was to investigate stepfatherÂchild, motherÂchild, and stepcouple relationship quality as predictors of levels and changes in adolescent physical health over time. The study findings suggested that stepfatherÂchild relationship quality was a robust predictor of adolescent physical health throughout adolescence and was associated with chronic illness diagnosed in young adulthood.
