Taylor MK, et al. - Cross-sectional analyses were performed to evaluate the association of dietary glycemic measures with the cerebral amyloid burden and cognitive performance in cognitively normal older adults. The researchers found an association between high-glycemic diet and greater cerebral amyloid burden, which suggested diet as a potential modifiable behavior for cerebral amyloid accumulation and subsequent Alzheimer's disease risk.
