Krishnan AR, et al. – Aim is to comprehensively identify microRNA (miRNA) alterations. In addition, the clinical relevance of microRNA in smoking–induced head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) pathogenesis and progression has been assessed. Portraying an association with important HNSCC clinical characteristics, specific alterations in miRNA expression may be traced to tobacco use.
