A comparison of walking gait following mechanical and kinematic alignment in total knee joint replacement
Journal of Arthroplasty Sep 26, 2017
McNair P, et al. - This research entails a comparison of kinematic and kinetic variables recorded during level walking in patients at least two years post-operation who underwent a mechanical alignment (MA) or kinematic alignment (KA) procedure. Findings did not lend support to either one of the operative procedures over the other because of insufficient differences observed in gait parameters across the KA and MA groups at two years after the operation.
