Esses G, et al. - In this study including patients undergoing aortic valve replacement, frailty was assessed as a predictor of 30-day mortality and composite morbidity, and the predictive ability of 3 frailty indices was compared. Researchers reported that in this population, mortality could be predicted by frailty and selection of frailty index did not make a difference.
