Esses G, et al. - Whether frailty can predict 30-day mortality and composite morbidity in patients undergoing aortic valve replacement, was investigated in this retrospective cohort study. Also, the predictive ability of 3 frailty indices was compared in this population. Researchers found that frailty could predict mortality in these patients and choice of frailty index did not make a difference.
