Grimm C, et al. - Researchers assessed the efficacy of a collagen-fibrin patch for the prevention of symptomatic lymphoceles after pelvic lymphadenectomy in women with gynecologic malignancies. They found that there was no reduction in the incidence of symptomatic lymphoceles in cases where collagen-fibrin patches were applied, intraoperatively, to the pelvic side walls.
