Cao Z, et al. - Authors assessed the long-term and sustainable effectiveness of a childhood-obesity intervention in China. On preventing childhood obesity, particularly among girls, significant and reliable long-term effects were demonstrated by the 3-year RCT. Compared with the baseline, for both normal-weight students and overweight or obese students, they noted lower BMI z-scores in the intervention group than those in the control group.
