Iwasaki M, et al. - This study was performed to investigate the association of maximum bite force (MBF), an objective measure of oral function, with the development of frailty in community-dwelling older adults. Among elderly men and women, poor oral function increased the risk of development of frailty, as indicated by low MBF.
