7.0 Tesla MRI tractography in patients with trigeminal neuralgia
Magnetic Resonance Imaging Jan 07, 2018
Moon HC, et al. - This study entailed a scrutiny of the diffusion tensor imaging (DTI) parameters and the feasibility of DTI criteria for diagnosing trigeminal neuralgia (TN). The inference drawn was that 7.0 Tesla(T) DTI was useful for identifying the neurovascular compression in patients with TN. Findings recommended that the increased signal-to-noise ratio provided by 7 T MRI ought to be advantageous for increasing spatial resolution in order to detect microstructure changes to trigeminal nerves in the study cohort.
