5-/12-lipoxygenase-linked cascade contributes to the IL-33-induced synthesis of IL-13 in mast cells, thus promoting asthma development
Allergy Sep 02, 2017
Ro M, et al. – Researchers in this study wanted to detect whether 5–/12–lipoxygenase–linked cascade contributed to the IL–33–induced synthesis of IL–13 in mast cells, thus promoting asthma development. Study outcomes highlighted the involvement of ÂMyD88–5–/12–LO–BLT2–NF–κBÂ cascade to the IL–33–induced synthesis of IL–13 in mast cells. Therefore, it potentially contributed to asthmatic development and exacerbation.
