20-Year minimum outcomes and survival rate of high-flexion vs standard total knee arthroplasty
Journal of Arthroplasty Aug 27, 2020
Kim YH, Park JW, Jang YS, et al. - The present long-term follow-up study was conducted to ascertain long-term (minimum 20 years) clinical and radiographic and CT scan results, and the survival rates of high-flexion vs standard total knee arthroplasties (TKAs). Researchers enrolled a total of 95 patients (190 knees) (mean age, 65 ± 6.5 years). The 20.3 years (range, 20 to 20.6 years) was the mean follow-up. The data revealed that high-flexion TKA has comparable outcomes and survivorship to standard TKA at this length of follow-up.
